The Carmichael Inn
EST. 1905 | GRANBURY, TEXAS
A Historic Landmark. A New Chapter.
Built in 1905, the Baker-Carmichael House has been a Granbury landmark for more than 120 years.
Originally home to prominent merchant and Texas legislator Jess Baker, it was among the first homes in Granbury to feature electricity, indoor plumbing, and telephone service. Its beautiful turret, grand columns, and wraparound porch reflect its historic charm.
Later home to Dr. Archibald Carmichael and his family, the property is now a recognized Texas Historic Landmark.
Today, this treasured home is preparing for its next chapter as The Carmichael Inn, a historic vacation rental managed by Skyview Vacations.
